PAYMENT AGREEMENT FOR C.O.D. CUSTOMERS

    In order to schedule service for our C.O.D. customers, we require a credit card deposit of ONE half-hour ($90.00). This charge will be applied toward the final total service billing.

    The $90.00 credit card deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE under the following circumstances:
    • The customer cancels the service call with LESS THAN 48 hours notice
    • The problem is solved OVER THE PHONE by an N.B. Handy Service technician

    Payments by check must be approved prior to service. Checks for payment in full must be available the date of service and provided to our service technician prior to departure. If paying by check, the credit card deposit will be DEDUCTED from your final balance rather than being REFUNDED to your credit card. If a check is not collected at the time of service and other arrangements have not been made, the total service billing will be collected using the card provided.

    FIELD SERVICE AND REPAIR RATES
    • In-Shop Labor: $180 per hour, billed in 1/2 hour increments ($90/half hour) for VA and points south $200 per hour, billed in 1/2 hour increments ($100/half hour) for MD and points north
    • Travel Time: $135 per hour, portal to portal, billed in 1/2 hour increments
    • Mileage: $0.85 per mile, portal to portal
    * These rates DO NOT INCLUDE PARTS necessary for the repair of machinery NOTE: Calls submitted as URGENT, requiring next-day service, must agree to accept charges for travel from an available service portal, which may or may not be the portal nearest the customer’s location. URGENT calls may incur an expedition fee if previously scheduled calls must be rescheduled to accommodate expedited service.
